How we verify practitioners

How does DomiSanté verify practitioners?

Before going live, every practitioner is checked by our doctor, document by document: identity card, diploma, authorisation to practise, INPE number when there is one, and professional liability insurance. The verification dates appear on each profile. An expired document hides the profile until it is renewed and checked again by our doctor.

The documents we check

The national identity card and a live photo, the professional diploma, the authorisation to practise privately, the INPE number when there is one, the professional liability insurance certificate and, for each specialty shown, the matching certificate.

Our doctor’s role

A doctor examines every file and alone decides on approval. No profile appears in the results before that decision, and no paid option can bypass it.

Dated and renewed checks

Each profile shows the date of every check. When an insurance or an authorisation expires, the practitioner must send the renewed document; otherwise the profile is hidden.

Frequently asked questions

Does the check assess the quality of care?

No. It covers the documents: identity, diploma, right to practise and insurance. Reviews left after visits describe patients’ experience.

What happens when a document expires?

The profile is hidden as soon as it expires, until the practitioner sends the renewed document and our doctor checks it.

Can a practitioner pay to be verified faster?

No. Verification is never paid for and does not depend on any subscription.

How do I report a suspicious profile?

Every profile has a “Report this profile” link. Our team reviews every report, including suspected fake practitioners.
